MSW Internship
RMIAN accepts Advanced Standing and Concentration Year MSW student interns every semester (fall, spring, and summer) with its Social Service Project. Interested MSW candidates should see the RMIAN Social Service Project internship description with their MSW program’s field placement database.
Preference will be given to candidates with Spanish-language ability, strong research and writing skills, and those who have immigration law coursework and/or have immigration law experience. Other relevant backgrounds include criminal defense, human rights, racial justice, and prisoner rights. Individuals of color and/or from directly impacted immigrant communities are strongly encouraged to apply. Internships are unpaid, although applicants are encouraged to apply for outside funding through grants and fellowships.
RMIAN will not be hosting an MSW intern during the 2024-2025 school year. Prospective interns for the 2025-2026 academic year are encouraged to apply.
